Wolves lead race for Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is expected to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window.

The Englishman has fallen out of favour under Erik ten Hag since his arrival and has made just one four-minute cameo in the Premier League this season.

Ten Hag has opted to start Diogo Dalot where possible and the Portugal international has missed just one match, in which he faced a one-game suspension. Instead of deploying Wan-Bissaka, the Dutchman deployed left-back Tyrell Malacia out of position to cover Dalot’s absence.

Wan-Bissaka’s lack of game time likely largely comes down to the fact he does not fit the manager’s style of play, as Dalot offers considerably more on the attack.

According to 90min, the Red Devils have told the former Crystal Palace defender he can find a new club in the winter, and Wolves have already approached him to try and agree a deal. The Midlands side are reportedly “leading the chase” over the likes of Leeds United and West Ham.

His departure from Old Trafford looks imminent.
