The Glazers announced they are ready to sell Manchester United in November.
When asked about a potential takeover, Erik ten Hag was sounding upbeat about the situation because he believes the Glazers making way for new owners will hand him more money in the transfer market.
“Richard Arnold told me,” Ten Hag told reporters, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News. “They [the Glazers] are open and transparent. I was informed by the club but I’m not talking with the owners about this issue. My information is that it will only be good things because there will be more investment possible, which is good.”
According to the Daily Mail, the Glazers will listen to offers in excess of £5 billion, but it is understood that they are hoping that figure could rise to £9 billion if companies like Apple, Amazon and Google show interest.

The Glazers are taking advice from The Raine Group over the potential sale — the same group that were involved in the sale of Chelsea earlier this year.
It remains to be seen who will be sat at the table making bids for Manchester United, but it sounds like the Glazers are hopeful that some of the big tech companies will come knocking on the door.
It goes without saying that a takeover by the likes of Amazon or Google would put United on another level after 17-years of hardship under Glazer ownership.
Indeed it has been 17 years of hardship and misery for Manchester United fans.
Hopefully Amazon, Google or another benefactor with gold-lined pockets buy United and a whole new era of glory could evolve.
Perhaps the Glazers have finally realised that the wanton raiding of the club’s coffers has depleted the “gold” and have been forced to SELL!!!
