Erik ten Hag has named his starting eleven to face Real Betis in a midseason friendly.
Manchester United will return to Manchester after facing Real Betis to continue their preparations for the return of domestic action.
We still have quite a few players away at the World Cup, so Ten Hag doesn’t have any other choice but to field a weakened side against our La Liga opposition. It’s an opportunity for fringe players — like Victor Lindelof and Donny van de Beek to prove themselves.
The same goes for the young players in the starting line-up, including Teden Mengi, Zidane Iqbal and Alejandro Garnacho.
