Aaron Wan-Bissaka could leave Manchester United in January.

This won’t come as a surprise for a number of reasons. I think the only shock would be if someone came in with a reasonable transfer fee to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Reports from 90Min suggest Erik ten Hag does not see the right-back in his plans and that he could be sold in January.

Diogo Dalot has become Ten Hag’s primary option at right-back and it doesn’t look like he rates Wan-Bissaka, meaning United could enter the market for a new right-back to offer cover at least.

Crystal Palace were linked with a move to re-sign Wan-Bissaka during the summer, but sources have told Stretty News that West Ham could emerge as candidates to prize him away from Old Trafford.

Stretty News verdict

Manchester United need to sell a few players and Wan-Bissaka is one who clearly doesn’t have much of a future at the club.

Even for his own sake, it makes sense to leave United next month.

This is definitely one to keep an eye on.
