Manchester United tracking Russian starlet who had trials at the club

Manchester United are tracking exciting teenage prospect Sergey Pinyaev, who had trials at the club before the pandemic in 2020.

The 18-year-old plays for Russian Premier League side KS Samara and has contributed four goals and four assists in 15 appearances so far this season.

He is a left-winger who is renowned for his crossing, shooting and dribbling. Pinyaev likes to cut in from whichever flank he is deployed, as he can also play on the right, and is a quality dribbler.

The teenager made his international debut on November 17, becoming the youngest-ever national team debutant for Russia.

Reds monitoring Pinyaev

According to Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are still monitoring the situation of Pinyaev. He is contracted to KS Samara until the summer of 2025.

He visited Manchester during his trial before Covid hit, and met the staff at United. Pinyaev completed an exclusive interview with ManUnitedZone on Twitter, which may be useful to find out more about the Reds’ potential transfer target.
