Manchester United are in action in Spain as Erik ten Hag tests his squad in their mid-season friendly against Cadiz, with the Dutchman’s squad mainly made up of fringe and academy players.
The starting line-up was dominated by senior players not involved in this winter’s World Cup but Ten Hag made ten changes at half-time, with just goalkeeper Martin Dubravka keeping his place.
Prior to the 15-minute break, Anthony Martial had pulled one back for the Reds after the hosts claimed an early two-goal lead. It didn’t take long into the second half before the score was level once again.
Young midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is one of the promising talents in the club’s academy hoping for a breakthrough and it was he who would grab United’s equaliser, as seen below.
