Manchester United legend Park Ji-sung is a fan of England starlet Jude Bellingham.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has established himself as one of the best teenagers at the World Cup this winter, but recent reports suggest Manchester United are out of the running for his signature next summer.
Bellingham’s one goal and an assist hardly tells a fraction of the story. He has been a phenomenal driving force in the England midfield — showing confidence, skill, technique and lots of belief.
There will be an almighty battle for his signature and Park J-Sung believes the 19-year-old is set to follow in Wayne Rooney’s footsteps. When asked if you could compare Bellingham and his former teammate, the former South Korea international told talkSPORT: “Yeah, I think so.
“He’s a young age but he’s been brilliant at Dortmund and at the World Cup. He’s the key man for England in the middle of the park.
“He’s a really important player for England, he has the potential to be the best in the world.”
Park won four Premier League titles and the Champions League during his time at United. He was a reliable player who Sir Alex Ferguson trusted in the biggest of games.
