Manchester United appear to be out of the race for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, whilst rivals Liverpool are pushing to complete a transfer this summer.

The Borussia Dortmund and England star is expected to leave Germany this summer but one place he won’t be ending up is Old Trafford.

According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenburg, Manchester United are out of the race to sign Bellingham, who will cost his next club between €100-150 million, with Jurgen Klopp pushing to sign the 19-year-old.

The BVB star is having a spectacular World Cup which will only increase the demand for his signature in the coming months. Man City and Real Madrid are expected to challenge Liverpool for his signature.

With United set to miss out, I reckon Erik ten Hag will look for a cheaper alternative to strengthen his midfield. Other areas need prioritising like our attack as well as cover for right-back.

Dortmund are set to make another profit on a English teenager.

It’s a shame we didn’t sign him instead of Dortmund. That was our chance.
