Brazil have booked their place in the quarter-finals after beating South Korea 4-1.

The Brazilians are into the last eight after a wonderful performance, with Manchester United star Casemiro starring in the middle of the pitch.

They produced some breathe-taking football in the first half before taking their foot off the gas after the interval. The game was put to bed by the half-time whistle thanks to goals from Vinicius, Neymar, Richarlison and Paqueta.

South Korea even managed to score a consolation goal through Seung-Ho Pain. But it was too little, too late.

Brazil can now look forward to a quarter-final clash with Croatia this Friday. All at South Korea’s expense.

This means it’s unlikely that Casemiro will return to United until after the World Cup. At the very least, we expect him to have a role to play in the third place play-off unless they make the final.
