Manchester United and Sweden defender Victor Lindelof has visited The Gambia for the next step of his kind charity work.
Just a week ago, Lindelof explained he would be visiting the country with his wife Maya.
The 28-year-old has now been pictured in the African country to learn more about Unicef’s charitable work. He explained everything in more detail with a post on Instagram. He started his message with: “I’m honoured to be here in The Gambia…”

Lindelof is on a short break from Manchester United during the World Cup since Sweden failed to qualify. They lost in the play-offs after finishing second in their group behind Spain.
It might be of benefit to United to have the Swede fully fit when domestic football returns for a cup tie against Burnley at Old Trafford.
It’s difficult to put in words just how inspirational footballers like Lindelof are — for taking the time and showing an interest in these countries that are in dire need of help.
Lindelof leads by example off the pitch at least.
