Marcus Rashford hails England starlet who doesn’t put a foot wrong

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has raved about reported transfer target Jude Bellingham on the latest episode of the Lions’ Den.

Rashford and Bellingham are England teammates and both scored in the Three Lions’ World Cup opener against Iran on Monday.

The United star raved about Bellingham following his stunning display in midfield against Iran, and has underlined his maturity. Rashford said: “To be fair, he is really mature. I think for me, it shows in his performance. He doesn’t really put a foot wrong.”

England started their World Cup campaign with a 6-2 win over Iran and there is a lot of excitement building throughout the group. Rashford took less than 50 seconds to score after coming on from the bench as he found the back of the net with his third touch.

Although there has been speculation in the media about Bellingham coming to the Premier League next summer, former United defender Rio Ferdinand was quick to dismiss our chances of landing the 19-year-old midfielder. He thinks the Borussia Dortmund starlet will opt to join a club like Man City or Real Madrid instead.

Bellingham has scored three goals and registered two assists in 15 Bundesliga matches and has also scored four goals on top of one assist in five UEFA Champions League games so far this season.

Hopefully Bellingham and Rashford can become teammates at club level next… at Old Trafford.
