Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother takes aim at Erik ten Hag with social media post

Manchester United veteran Cristiano Ronaldo has come under intense criticism following his recent interview with Piers Morgan, but he will always have the defence of his mother.

Delores Aveiro is never shy when it comes to backing her son in the spotlight and I don’t think anyone blames her — even if they strongly oppose the interview with TalkTV and how Ronaldo used it to badmouth pretty much everything to do with Manchester United.

She has now had her say on the backlash, as well as Ronaldo’s criticisms of Erik ten Hag, the Glazers and several of his former team-mates such as Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville who he took aim at during the 90-minute conversation with Morgan.

Delores shared a post by Portuguese journalist Luis Osorio to her 2.9million Instagram followers and appeared to show her support for Ronaldo, even though it suggested that he should tell the United manager to ‘f*** off’, as cited by the Manchester Evening News.

Not a classy approach to take but one you can expect from Ronaldo.

Osorio’s Instagram post backed Ronaldo’s decision to speak out against his club. It read: “As far as the Dutchman who has managed you in these last few months, I just want to laugh.

“How can you compare what you are to a miserable footnote in football history!

“As Alberto Joao Jardim says, tell him to ‘f*** off’. I know you already have but it’s worth reiterating.”

Ronaldo’s sister Katia got in on the act too, adding: “It’s worth reading this and sharing.”

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is more worried about selling NFTs to his fans

The sooner United get rid of Ronaldo the better. We can’t have this situation dragging on when the players return from the World Cup.

  1. The whole story with Ronaldo is that of a spoiled brat not realizing he is done on world stage now…. no BIG team wants him anymore and his legacy is tarnished. Messi is the GOAT in all aspects…
Football is a team sport….how could you miss that CR7????

    1. How can you possibly come to the conclusion that he is “Done on world stage” when he’s barely been given any match time? If Ten hag had no intention in playing him why did he not allow him to leave? As a man united fan who knows how the glazers do their business, they have most likely bought Ronaldo just to make money off his iconic jersey and the fans that paied money to watch him at Old Trafford again. Had he gone to Bayern or to PSG, hey would of continued to perform as his passion for the game has not gone despite his age
