Alejandro Garnacho has got his Manchester United senior career off to a flying start and has just picked up the club’s monthly award.
The 18-year-old beat Casemiro and David de Gea in being named November’s Player of the Month.
He picked up two goals and two assists across the month and has given Erik ten Hag a lot of thinking to do over the international break as to whether Garnacho has earned his place in the starting 11.

His first goal came against Real Sociedad in the Europa League in Spain. He netted the only goal of the game after an outstanding counter-attack from the Reds. Garnacho then set a new record that was previously held by United legend George Best, in becoming the club’s youngest non-English goalscorer in Europe.
After United’s dismal defeat at Villa Park, the team looked set on getting revenge when Aston Villa visited Old Trafford for a Carabao Cup tie just four days after. In the 4-2 victory, Garnacho produced a spectacular pass to assist fellow academy graduate Scott McTominay, as well as assisting Bruno Fernandes.
Garnacho nets first Premier League goal
Next up for the Argentinian was a trip to Craven Cottage to face newly-promoted and in-form Fulham. He started the match on the bench, watching on as Christian Eriksen opened the scoring and netted his first goal in a United shirt before Fulham equalised through former Red Daniel James. Ten Hag turned to Garnacho to make a difference through a 72nd-minute substitution.
After lighting up the left flank, he secured a crucial three points for the Red Devils in injury time by using his blistering pace to meet a ball and slot it against Bernd Leno.
The youngster was named Man of the Match three times throughout the month.
