Patrice Evra urges Ten Hag to play Maguire against Fulham

Former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra has cast his prediction for Manchester United’s final Premier League game ahead of the World Cup.

Speaking to Betfair, he also stated that he hopes Harry Maguire plays against Fulham.

The centre-back was selected by Gareth Southgate for the forthcoming World Cup, despite losing his place in the United line-up to Lisandro Martinez.

“I hope we see Maguire playing, he needs the minutes,” Evra said. “For Fulham, a lot depends on if Mitrovic is fit, if he’s fit I think Fulham could get a win. I’m glad that Bruno Fernandes is back, that will shut up a lot of critics who said he needed a rest, he wasn’t on the pitch against Aston Villa last weekend and we got bullied in the midfield.”

Evra went on to predict a 2-0 win for the Reds.

I don’t know why Evra thinks Maguire needs minutes. Is it for the World Cup which doesn’t involve United?
