David de Gea is one of six candidates in contention to win Premier League’s October Save of the Month award.
The Spaniard has been in fine form lately for the Reds and has picked up five clean sheets in United’s last six games. His relationship with the defenders is as strong as ever as the team’s defensive unit continues to look more solid.
Whilst there have been many saves to choose from, the Premier League have nominated De Gea’s 82nd-minute heroics to deny Kurt Zouma’s header during Sunday’s clash with West Ham at Old Trafford.

He then went on to make another outstanding shot-stopper in injury time, when Declan Rice met a loose ball outside the box and hit a powerful strike on target.
