Manchester United are preparing for their final Europa League game of the group stage, with Erik ten Hag looking to finish top of the table to qualify for the round of 16.

Ten Hag will be desperate to avoid a second-placed finish, with only first-placed teams going straight to the round of 16. Runner-ups will face teams dropping down from the Champions League in a play-off tie.

In an already congested schedule where United are worse off than other clubs due to the two Premier League games that were postponed earlier this, the Reds are unlikely to settle for second.

Ten Hag has been reluctant to rotate his side so far this season and considering he did not make many changes for home games against Omonia and FC Sheriff, he is unlikely to go into this game with a weakened side.

There are, however, a number of injury concerns he will need to consider. Raphael Varane will miss the game and Victor Lindelof could be a doubt after missing the game against West Ham with an injury.

Antony also missed that game but United have been handed a huge boost as forward Anthony Martial has returned to full training. The Frenchman is unlikely to start this game, however.

Cristiano Ronaldo has started all five of United’s games in the Europa League and that streak is almost certainly going to continue against La Real.

Marcus Rashford has been in inspired form lately and with United chasing a result, with at least two goals needed to win the group, he will be one of the first names on the teamsheet.

Predicted Man United line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Eriksen; Sancho, Fernandes, Rashford; Ronaldo
