Marcus Rashford has reached 100 goals for Manchester United.
Thanks to a beautiful cross from Christian Eriksen, Rashford was able to head home his effort in the first half, and it proved to be the winner against West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Reacting to his latest milestone via Twitter, Rashford wrote: “100 goals for this special club! I’ve been here since I was 7 years old and came through every single age group and played on every single pitch so I want to thanks all my staff, my family and team mates that have helped make this achievement possible.”

England manager Gareth Southgate was in the stands watching on before selecting his squad for the World Cup and he would have been impressed by Rashford’s performance.
It was Rashford’s seventh goal of the season and he looks like a player who is set to hit double digits this season. He was unable to do that last term but it’s clear to see that his confidence is growing by the week.
Rashford joins an exclusive club of 22 players to have achieved the feat — including Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo — but he is one of a handful to do it after coming from the academy. Those include Sir Bobby Charlton, Dennis Viollet, George Best, Mark Hughes, Paul Scholes and Stan Pearson.
Here’s to the next hundred!
Congratulations Rashy, More great heights
