Manchester United are finding their feet under Erik ten Hag and the last couple of weeks have shown that steady progress is being made under the Dutchman.
United are currently fifth in the Premier League table and considering their highly turbulent start to the season, Ten Hag has done well to get everyone, or at least the vast majority, on board.
Christian Eriksen is one of the players who has been at the forefront of everything good that United have been doing this season – the Dane has only missed one league game so far.
Speaking ahead of this week’s Europa League game against FC Sheriff, Eriksen has fired a warning to United’s rivals, insisting that there is yet more to come from the rapidly improving Reds.
“I do,” Eriksen said when quizzed on whether he believes the best is yet to come, according to the Daily Mail. “I have the feeling, the players feel it and the fans do, I even think you guys believe it a bit.
“I think you can see the development in the games of how we play, there’s a bit of a rising. I think we’re starting to believe it. Obviously, there’s a lot of things that we need to do better, things we can change but I think overall we’re on the right path.
“I do think there’s a bit of belief. I think we started believing what we are doing on the pitch and a lot of the 1-0 wins gave us confidence that we could do well and get momentum.
“He (Ten Hag) wants us to do stuff and we try to do what he wants, but on the pitch we have to make our own decisions. I think the qualities we have, when finally we get to know the base, will be even better.”

It can’t be denied that United are improving under Ten Hag and the last couple of weeks, especially, have been encouraging to watch as they have started to dominate games.
The 2-0 win over Tottenham last week was arguably the best performance in over 12 months and it was followed up with another dominant display at Chelsea.
Eriksen has been integral to the way Ten Hag has revolutionised United and at this rate, his importance to the side will only continue to grow.
