Three of Manchester United’s festive fixtures have been amended and given new dates/kick-off times.

First up is United’s Boxing Day clash with Nottingham Forest, which has been rescheduled to Tuesday, December 27 (via ManUtd.com). The change means its the second consecutive year that the Reds won’t play on Boxing Day.

The clash with the newly promoted side will be United’s first meeting with Forest since their promotion to the top division, having spent 23 years outside the Premier League. The match is a later kick-off at 8pm and will take place at Old Trafford.

Next is the Reds’ home tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers, which is scheduled for New Year’s Eve. The game was originally going to be a 3 pm kick-off, but has been moved to an earlier slot of 12:30 pm and will be broadcasted by BT Sport.

Finally, the Red Devils will take on another newly promoted side – Bournemouth. The match will not be televised, and it is confirmed for Tuesday, January 3 at 8 pm.

Busy schedule following World Cup

Following the World Cup tournament, players will be thrown straight back into the action.

Hopefully, all internationals return injury free and ready to pursue a successful second half of the season in Manchester.
