Lisandro Martinez has quickly become a fans’ favourite at Manchester United. The defender clashed with Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount during Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.
The former Ajax defender arrived joining the summer along with Erik ten Hag and Antony, with United managing to take some spice from what was a very exciting Eredivisie side last season.
Martinez is a defender who plays with his heart on his sleeve and he is never too shy to bite.
In the 37th minute of Saturday’s Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge, Martinez squared up to Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount as they shared a brief argument.
The Argentine stared down Mount and refused to back down until Luke Shaw managed to calm things down.
