Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek was left stunned by Casemiro’s equalising goal at Stamford Bridge last night.

Casemiro scored a header to make it 1-1 in stoppage-time to cancel out Jorginho’s penalty, which was scored seven minutes earlier, so there was a lot of late action for fans to soak in.

A chipped cross from Luke Shaw found Casemiro in a position to score his first goal for United, and it is one we won’t be forgetting anytime soon as it secured an important point on the road.

In many ways, the goal epitomises Casemiro’s influence on the game as he grabbed it by the scruff of the neck, which is what Ten Hag brought him in to do in the summer.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek stunned by late Casemiro goal

A United goal was always coming, especially since the early stages which we dominated.

Casemiro led by example and kept gunning until the end.

Speaking to the official Chelsea website, Loftus-Cheek said: “It was just one of those games, but I thought we had it [the win], we were defending well and then to be honest I don’t know how Casemiro’s got the power on that header to send it up and down. It feels like a defeat.”
