Manchester United fans were delighted with loanee Dean Henderson this afternoon when he made a stunning save in stoppage time to ensure Nottingham Forest secured a 1-0 win over Liverpool at the City Ground.

Steve Cooper’s side held on at the end but were unlucky not to go two up after scoring a second half goal. Former Liverpool man Taiwo Awoniyi scored the only goal of the game 55 minutes in.

Liverpool were unable to find a way into the game despite creating a number of chances. Thankfully, Henderson was able to show some of his best form between the posts.

The United goalkeeper made a spectacular stop to deny Virgil van Dijk from close range at the very end.

His save was well-received by United fans, who were happy to see Liverpool drop three points.

It’s always good to give Jurgen Klopp a reason to be bitter. He will probably argue that you shouldn’t be allowed to play loan players against Liverpool.
