Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson appeared to give Liverpool fans a gesture after helping Nottingham Forest to a 1-0 win at the City Ground.
Former Liverpool man Taiwo Awoniyi scored the only goal in the 55th minute but Forest were unlucky not to grab a second later in the match. That said, Liverpool created enough chances to win the match themselves, and Henderson pulled off a heroic save to deny Virgil van Dijk in stoppage time.
That sparked wild scenes at full-time as the City Ground erupted. Henderson not only ran into the crowd to celebrate the win, but he was also spotted gesturing towards the Liverpool fans and having a laugh at their expense.
The Daily Star report Henderson gave a middle finger gesture to the Liverpool, but we aren’t sure that is accurate.

Cameras showed the keeper smiling and pointing towards the away end, but it seems a stretch to suggest he used a middle finger.
United fans won’t mind either way.
