Cristiano Ronaldo’s second season back at Manchester United is not going to plan and after boycotting the tour of Thailand and Australia over the summer, his future is now hanging in the balance.
Ronaldo tried to engineer a move away from the club but that failed move has broken his relationship with manager Erik ten Hag and now, he has been axed by the Dutchman.
After walking off the pitch with several minutes left to play against Tottenham earlier this week, the club confirmed that Ronaldo will not be taking part in the game against Chelsea on Saturday.
Later on Friday, it was revealed that Ronaldo would not be training with the first team as usual but instead, he will be doing individual work at Carrington.
Now, he has been pictured arriving at the training ground as he looks to repair the damage he has caused by his antics at Old Trafford.

It remains to be seen whether Ronaldo is back with the squad by next week but as things stand, it looks like there’s a long way back for the 37-year-old before he’s in Ten Hag’s good books again.
Ten Hag has handled the situation well over the last couple of months and his refusal to be undermined by one of the best players of all time definitely bodes well.
