Manchester United confirm squad travelling to face Chelsea

Travelling squad

Manchester United players have been pictured before their long trip to London to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The match will kick off at 5.30 pm and is the final Premier League fixture on Saturday, giving the squad a rest before they resume Europa League action at Old Trafford on October 27 against Sheriff Tiraspol.

Among the travelling squad is Christian Eriksen who missed United’s weekend clash with Newcastle United and made only a short second-half cameo against his former club Tottenham Hotspur.

Young players Zidane Iqbal, Facundo Pellistri and Alejandro Garnacho are also with the squad. Anthony Elanga was not alongside his teammates but is still expected to make the journey

Confirmed United squad members:

Goalkeepers: De Gea, Dubravka, Heaton.

Defenders: Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Lindelof, Malacia, Shaw.

Midfielders: Fernandes, Fred, Casemiro, Eriksen, McTominay, Iqbal.

Attackers: Antony, Sancho, Rashford, Garnacho, Pellistri.

Reds missing for Chelsea match:

Cristiano Ronaldo is omitted from the match-day squad entirely after facing disciplinary actions from Erik ten Hag for refusing to be substituted in during United’s match vs Spurs. Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire remain sidelined for tomorrow’s fixture.
