After a frustrating 1-0 win over Omonia, Manchester United have one foot in the Europa League knockout stages – but finishing in second place is only enough to grant the Red Devils a spot in the play-offs.

That is why Erik ten Hag is demanding wins in the Europa League to clinch top spot from Real Sociedad, who picked up three points on their travels to Old Trafford earlier this season.

United need one point in the remaining two matches to guarantee a top-two finish – or it could come down the Sheriff dropping points, which is likely since they are our next opponents in the competition.

If neither of the top two sides – La Real and United – drop points on matchday 5, Ten Hag’s side will need to beat the La Liga outfit by two goals or more to secure top spot in Group E.

Let us know in the comments section if you think United will win their remaining two games.
