Paul Scholes eats his words after criticising new Manchester United signing

Paul Scholes’ criticism of Jadon Sancho was fair but Antony, who has made three league appearances for the club, didn’t warrant a premature dismissal.

The Brazil international joined the club with a huge price tag during the summer, only to become the first Manchester United player to score in his first three Premier League appearances.

It has been clear since his arrival that Antony thrives off the pressure and playing on the biggest stage.

Talking recently about Antony, Scholes said: “He seems to be a bit of a one-trick pony.”

Scholes takes back what he said – after one fan reminded him of his comments on social media – by simply posting: “Whoops!”

  1. Paul and your friends (Neville, Keane,Ferdinand and Evra) please shut-up your mouth ,it’s clearly you don’t have a good intention for our club, you do too much damage with your criticism than good

  2. These so called pundits are doing our club/team more harm than good with unconstructive criticism. Give our boys space and let them develop with time instead of giving them undue pressure.

  3. This guys talk to much and achieved very less as per individuals if Messi and Ronaldo are not talking such who are you to talk
