Manchester United confirm ticket offer after seeing allocation for Chelsea slashed

Manchester United have offered fans the opportunity to swap tickets for our trip to Chelsea for another match to resolve the issue around their reduced allocation for the Premier League meeting next week.

The club had sold 2,994 tickets, but the Metropolitan Police wanted to reduce that figure to just 1,500 over policing concerns for the encounter. Yes, this is the same police that was able to police a state funeral just weeks ago.

Following an appeal, United have been handed 2,370 tickets for the match, but the club feel the cut is unjustified on such short notice.

Those who choose to return their seat for the game at Stamford Bridge can either get a full refund for the ticket or can instead get a ticket for an away game against either Aston Villa, Fulham, Wolves, or Arsenal — as per Manchester Evening News.
