Last week the headlines focused on Cristiano Ronaldo sitting on the bench against Manchester City. Tonight, they paint a different story as he scored his 700th club goal.
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand reacted to Ronaldo’s latest milestone during his post-match assessment via BT Sport.
Ferdinand said: “This guy (Ronaldo) just doesn’t feel pressure.”

Ronaldo, once again, found himself on the bench at Everton but an injury to Anthony Martial meant the 37-year-old was introduced in the first half.
Within 15 minutes, the France international found the back of the net. You could argue it was his best performance of the season because he grew into the game and led several attacks.
Ronaldo will be hoping to take his chance in the team if Martial faces a spell in the treatment room. He certainly responded to his shambolic display against Omonia on Thursday night!
