The Red Devils, who travelled to Goodison Park for Sunday evening’s Premier League match, ran out narrow, but well-deserved winners thanks to two first-half goals from Antony and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo’s strike was the 700th club goal of his glittering career and Antony’s equalising effort is his third in his first three league appearances.
Speaking after the game, Bruno Fernandes, who was interviewed by BT Sport, was complimentary of the former Ajax winger but did admit that the club want to see even more from him, especially considering they paid Ajax a huge £85.5m transfer fee.
“We knew the qualities he had,” Fernandes said.
“Obviously, we know that all the players up front have such good qualities and Antony is one of them, and that’s why the club paid that amount of money for him.
“We are really happy for him but we want even more from him.”
“Every week it seems like Cristiano Ronaldo has a new record”
“Three big points for us”
“We want to show our spirit and our togetherness”
