Manchester United have invested heavily in the last two transfer windows and on wingers in particular. The latest window saw Antony arrive from Ajax, with the previous year seeing United sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
The Old Trafford club are still being linked with players in that position, however, with Napoli’s Hirving Lozano becoming the latest player to be paired with a move to the Reds.
Lozano has just two years remaining on his current deal with the Italian giants and they could possibly be tempted to part ways with the Mexican forward if a suitable offer is presented.
Now, his former agent, Alessandro Monfrecola, has named United as one of two Premier League clubs he could see Lozano end up at next summer.
“Next June, Lozano will leave in my opinion, also because he earns over 4 million at Napoli,” he told Gonfia la Rete, via The Sun.
“Although he is delighted to be here, he has never hidden that he aspired to the top English clubs, although now he is probably realising that Napoli itself is a top club.

“He has never hidden that he loves Barcelona and Real Madrid, but unless Ancelotti falls in love with him again, he has no market.
“I think he could land in Manchester United or Everton. This does not exclude that other English teams could enter the negotiation. My personal prediction is that he will leave in June, but he is very happy here.”
Lozano burst onto the scene in 2018 when he followed up a stellar World Cup campaign with a fantastic season for PSV in the Eredivisie. Since then, he has become an integral part of the project at Napoli but his form has taken a turn for the worse recently.
SN’s verdict…
As things stand, United are reasonably well-stocked in the wide areas but that could change very soon. Marcus Rashford, who has enjoyed a good start to this season, is out of contract next year and there have been no indications that he will sign a new deal.
Sancho, despite his good start to the season, is now facing some criticism for his performances whilst Antony is almost a permanent fixture in Erik ten Hag’s side.
Lozano’s contract running down means that United could broker a favourable deal but it remains to be seen whether they act on any perceived interest in the winger.
