Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has been reacting to the embarrassing 6-3 defeat at the Etihad.
The Red Devils conceded six goals against rivals Manchester City and the Denmark international was quick to stress that it was a bad day at the office for the team.
Eriksen was disappointed and said the players – including himself – can only blame themselves for the underwhelming result.
“It came very heavy,” Eriksen told Sky Sports after the match, as per Football Daily. “Everyone feels it was a bad day at the office. We can only blame ourselves.”

It certainly wasn’t one of Eriksen’s better matches in a United shirt.
Manchester City controlled the first-half so well that they led 4-0 at half-time.
At that stage, everyone in the stadium knew which team was coming away with three points, but we managed to put three goals past Ederson in the second half.
Pep Guardiola’s side still went on to win the game 6-3 to keep their unbeaten record alive.
