As a result, Erik ten Hag was named Premier League Manager of the Month and Marcus Rashford won Player of the Month after scoring two goals and registering two assists in as many games.
When asked by reporters about winning the Manager of the Month award, Ten Hag said (via Manchester Evening News): “What we achieved we did together, it says we are in the right direction. There is a lot of space for improvement, we have to. It says we are in the right direction but have to work harder.”
