Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has accused Jadon Sancho of ‘killing the tempo’ at Old Trafford, despite the winger being one of our best performers thus far this season.
While Sancho has enjoyed a bright start to the 2022/23 season, scoring three goals, Parker has criticised a key element of his game to suggest he hasn’t been impressed the former Borussia Dortmund star.
Parker said (via Manchester Evening News): “He’s getting his ball to feet and he’s killing the tempo. Every time, he slows it down. I’m not seeing anything anywhere near, near that of what you’d expect to see of a Manchester United wide player. He just isn’t. So, I’ve been disappointed in what I’ve seen so far.”
