Aaron Wan-Bissaka stayed at Manchester United this summer despite losing his place in the team.
The right-back is not in the squad to face FC Sheriff in Moldova this evening, but Erik ten Hag still decided to keep him at the club as cover for Diogo Dalot.
Ethan Laird went sent on loan to Queen Park Rangers in a quest to get more first team football under his belt.
Meanwhile, Wan-Bissaka has not got much of a look in this season – apart from an appearance off the bench in the Premier League.
To Dalot’s credit, the Portugal international has been in terrific form this season along with Tyrell Malacia on the left flank.

However, according to The Athletic, West Ham and Aston Villa could offer Wan-Bissaka a route out of Old Trafford in January.
The report suggests the defender could go for as little as £10 million which would present a big loss on the £50m United paid for him in 2019.
Since Wan-Bissaka is a player I cannot see getting back into the line-up, even if Dalot got injured, I think the club should be looking to move him on as soon as possible.
It would be best for all parties if Wan-Bissaka’s time at United came to end in the next year.
