Diogo Dalot has already improved his game under Erik ten Hag and that was clear again in the 3-1 win over Arsenal.
The Portugal international has fitted into the right-back role nicely under Ten Hag and he has the license to get forward and express himself.
I can’t see how Aaron Wan-Bissaka gets back into the team, but Dalot still must prove he can be United’s long-term option at right-back.
He started the game against Arsenal on the front foot and defended well, however, he was on the back foot for their disallowed goal due to a lapse in concentration.
Dalot reacted to the win with a video for Manchester United’s social media accounts (@ManUtd) and he took the time to thank the Old Trafford faithful for their support throughout the game.
