Manchester United winger Antony became the youngest Brazilian to score on his Premier League debut after he opened the scoring against Arsenal on Sunday.

The former Ajax star is just 22 years and 192 days, which makes him the youngest Brazilian to get on the scoresheet in his first Premier League appearance (via @OptaJoe), and we all hope it’s the first of many.

Antony made the perfect start in the Premier League with not only a debut goal, but three points against Arsenal, who had a 100 per cent record ahead of kick-off.

Their fans were even talking about Mikel Arteta’s side as The Invincibles 2.0!

Erik ten Hag threw Antony straight into the starting line-up for his debut because he trusts the player to know how to carry out specific duties on the pitch. They had a close relationship at Ajax and I can see them continuing a wonderful working relationship at Old Trafford.

A goal on your debut can be a huge confidence boost, but that’s not something Antony is lacking in. Go on lad!
