Manchester United have been busy on deadline day, with the club confirming the arrivals of winger Antony and goalkeeper Martin Dubravka before playing out a Premier League fixture at Leicester.
Jadon Sancho’s first-half strike handed United all three points, with Erik ten Hag’s men climbing up to fifth in the table after ending the second round of games in 20th place.
Shortly after the final whistle was sounded at the King Power Stadium, a departure would, however, be confirmed. James Garner, the highly rated midfielder, has joined Everton.

Garner has been on the brink of breaking into the first team at United for several years but his future now lies elsewhere, with Frank Lampard’s men deciding to pull the trigger on a deal.
The news was confirmed by Everton’s official Twitter account and United fans were quick to hijack the comments to let his new fans know what type of player they’re signing.
According to The Athletic journalist Laurie Whitwell, United will receive £9m for Garner and the fee could rise up to £15.5m if certain add-ons are achieved.
