Manchester United have registered another crucial three points on the board in the Premier League as Erik ten Hag’s men leave Leicester with all of the spoils.
It was another scrappy win for United, although this affair was more controlled than the win at Southampton over the weekend. Jadon Sancho’s first-half opener proved to be enough for United.
Diogo Dalot, who looked like his days at the club might have been numbered at this point last year, has been one of the standout performers this season and he was at the top of his game against Leicester.
One moment in the second half stands out, when the Portugal international recovered to block a cross by Leicester winger Harvey Barnes.

Similarly to the scenes against Liverpool, Dalot was emphatically celebrating the block as if it was a goal and Lisandro Martinez quickly accompanied him before Raphael Varane also joined in on the fun.
Leicester had momentum at that time of the game and crucially, Dalot’s block bounced back off Barnes, giving United a goal-kick and time to regroup.
