Travelling Manchester United support demand Glazers out at King Power Stadium

A comfortable first half for Manchester United at the King Power Stadium began with a stark reminder of the internal strife at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have been largely comfortable against Leicester City, taking a 1-0 lead into the break. Jadon Sancho opened the scoring, in a performance so far impressive for United’s defensive solidity.

However the match began with another protest from the travelling United fans against the Glazer family. Determined to see their US owners depart, several Glazers Out signs were brandished in the crowd, in addition to a hearty repertoire of anti-Glazer song.

Later in the match those choruses were converted to ‘Erik ten Hag’s Red and White Army’ consistently ringing out following Sancho’s goal.

Regardless of the result, the anti-Glazer sentiment will remain amongst many United fans, but it naturally loses focus as United continue to improve. It’s a tricky task for any fan to remain defiant in protest and simultaneously excited about their football team.
