Thursday night football: Quick look at Manchester United’s next 5 fixtures

There’s a lot of football coming up as the Premier League attempts to squeeze in as many fixtures possible ahead of the World Cup later this year.

Manchester United’s next five games in September throws up a challenge our two, but Erik ten Hag should be aiming to make a statement by winning the next three matches in the league. That would certainly make up for a slow start

On top of that, we have two games in the Europa League.

Manchester United’s next five matches

  • Vs Leicester City (away) – September 1 – Premier League
  • Vs Arsenal (home) – September 4 – Premier League
  • Vs Real Sociedad (home) – September 8 – Europa League
  • Vs Crystal Palace (away) – September 11 – Premier League
  • Vs FC Sheriff Tiraspol (away) – September 15 – Europa League

While Arsenal have won their first four games of the season, I still think we can take them if we can take it three wins from as many games against Leicester City.

We need to keep building momentum right up until the World Cup.
