Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has joined Ligue 1 outfit Marseille on loan for the coming season.
The deal includes an obligation to buy if Marseille qualify for the Champions League and if Bailly makes a certain number of appearances, as per The Telegraph.
It makes total sense following Lisandro Martinezโs arrival because Bailly immeditely fell further down the pecking order at United.
Marseille shared a remarkable video to announce Baillyโs arrival โ ripping off Marvelโs intro and portraying the Ivorian as a superhero.

Bailly joined United from Villarreal in 2016, but he spent a lot of time out injured and never managed to cement his place in the team.
He won the EFL Cup and Europa League during his first season at Old Trafford.
United havenโt won a trophy since.
Will Eric Bailly be a success at Marseille?
It will be a challenge for Marseille to qualify for the Champions League and Bailly is an excellent addition if he can stay fit throughout the season.
In January, Phil Jones turned down a loan move to Ligue 1, but Bailly has jumped at the opportunity to get more games this season.
Hopefully it works out for him.
