Former lightweight world champion, and huge Manchester United fan, Anthony Crolla supports the anti-Glazer protests at Old Trafford.
Manchester United supporters’ group The 1958 will protest against the Glazer family later today as part of a series of protests against the current ownership of the club.
The Red Devils are set to face Liverpool in the Premier League and the demonstration will take place before the game. There will be a march an hour before kick-off as the pressure builds on the Glazers.
Crolla, who is well connected within the United fanbase, promises the protests are getting bigger. He told talkSPORT it’ll be a big turn out because something has got to change.
“I’ve wanted the Glazers out for a long time,” Crolla said. “They don’t love Man United!”

Fans are already gathering around the stadium ahead of tonight’s protest and we urge everyone to keep it peaceful. Let’s not inflict any damage to the momentum being built by The 1958.
