Fabrizio Romano’s trademark “here we go” has done the rounds for Casemiro to join Manchester United.

The 30-year-old is set to leave Real Madrid where he won the Champions League five times, on top of three La Liga titles, and we all hope the Brazilian can bring a bit of that success with him to Manchester.

Casemiro, a renowned defensive midfielder, is exactly the type of player we’ve been crying out for years – but, sadly, his best years were spent at Real Madrid.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Ten Hag will sign a four-year contract, with the option of a further year. The players medical and visa paperwork is expected to be sorted during the weekend.

The Brazil international is now heading to the Premier League after receiving Carlo Ancelotti’s blessing. Casemiro’s desire was meet with understanding from his Italian coach and we are sure he is looking forward to joining Erik ten Hag’s side.

Casemiro’s impending arrival is one worth getting excited over because he will bring steel to United’s midfield.
