Moises Caicedo’s representatives have offered the Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder to Manchester United.
With a move for Adrien Rabiot off, as per the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are exploring alternative options with Erik ten Hag is desperate need of midfield reinforcements.
United are considering a move for Real Madrid and Brazil star Casemiro, although Caicedo is another option they are going to think about between now and deadline day.
According to The Guardian, Caicedo’s entourage have offered the 20-year-old to United. He’s only been at Brighton one year but has impressed in the Premier League after a short stint on loan at Beerschot in Belgium.
Sky Sports claim Brighton do not want to sell Caicedo, which means they will be demanding a premium figure for his signature. They got £50 million out of Arsenal for Ben White last year, not to mention Chelsea’s mega-money transfer involving Marc Cucurella this summer.
United registered an interest in Caicedo prior to his move to Brighton, but the Red Devils didn’t act quick enough at the time.
