Cristiano Ronaldo has promised that the truth will come out in a tell-all interview.
The 37-year-old has been the subject of speculation over his future after missing the pre-season tour. He returned to training later than everyone else alongside his agent, Jorge Mendes, for showdown talks with the club.
Ronaldo has a year left on his current deal at Old Trafford, but Mendes has been unable to find him a new club, with Inter and Milan rejecting the opportunity to sign the Portuguese star earlier this summer.
However, the bookmakers have Chelsea as the favourites to sign Ronaldo this summer.
Multiple reports suggest Ronaldo still wants to leave Old Trafford, with manager Erik ten Hag believed to in favour of selling the unsettled forward. I don’t see what benefit we will get from keeping a player of Ronaldo’s age against his will.
But Ronaldo has hit out at the rumours and accused the media of ‘lies’.
Ronaldo commented via Instagram: “They know the truth when they interview in a couple weeks. The media is telling lies. I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 news I made, only 5 were right. Imagine how it is. Stick with that tip.”

Why can’t he just bury the hatchet now and get it over and done with?
