Manchester United are currently in the process of preparing to kick their 2022-23 season off with a home tie against Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Red Devils will welcome the Seagulls to Old Trafford for one of two early Premier League kick offs on Sunday.
New manager Erik ten Hag is in line to make his competitive debut following a string of decent pre-season results.
However, keen to ensure that the 20-time league winners get off to a good start, ten Hag will be eager to ensure that his new team start as quickly and as emphatically as possible.

Although there is still two hours before Sunday’s game gets underway, the former Ajax boss, who wrote some pre-match notes in the club’s official programme, has revealed that he is willing to give any player, regardless of age, a chance to shine.
“Anyone can see that this is a talented squad and we have added some exciting players with the new signings we have made already this summer,” the 52-year-old said, as quoted by ManUtd.
“As well as our newcomers, I have also been getting to know some of our promising young players over the summer, so I will say now, for the record, that if players have the right ability and attitude, they will get their chance, regardless of their age or reputation.”
Sunday’s game, which is set to be broadcast live on Sky Sports, is scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m UK time.
