Fabrizio Romano claims United are exploring Benjamin Sesko deal

Renowned journalist and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has the latest on the Benjamin Sesko to Manchester United transfer saga which only started brewing over the past two weeks.

Romano reveals several details of the case in a recent video on his YouTube channel, including a suggestion that United could make a bid next week.

However, in a new post on Twitter, Romano claims United are still exploring a deal for Sesko. He tweeted: “Manchester United are still exploring Benjamin Sesko deal. No official bid yet but approaches with player side continue as revealed earlier in the week. RB Salzburg plan has always been to sell Sesko in 2023 – not an easy one, but he’s definitely on Man Utd’s list.”

It has been reported that John Murtough had a meeting with the player’s agent, while RB Salzburg would prefer to keep the 19-year-old striker for another season.

RB Salzburg will be able to demand significantly more money for Sesko if he has another impressive campaign. United should try get him now, even if it means paying slightly over the odds.
