Former Manchester United winger Lee Sharpe believes it’s a massive season for Marcus Rashford.
The academy graduate endured a difficult 2021/22 campaign. He missed the start of the season due to shoulder surgery and struggled to find form after he returned.
Speaking to 888sport, Lee Sharpe said: “It’s an absolutely massive season for Marcus Rashford.
“I’m a big fan of his and think he’s an unbelievable athlete with his pace and strength, and his feet.
“His composure in front of goal will improve as he gets older and gets more confident – he does need to score more goals.”
Rashford scored just five goals in 31 games across all competitions last season.
The England international lost his place in the team towards the end of the season.
Ralf Rangnick quickly decided he wants to persist with Elanga rather than play Rashford through his bad run of form.
Everyone is hoping Rashford can get back to his best under Erik ten Hag.
