Cristiano Ronaldo’s failure to show up for Manchester United’s pre-season has stolen the headlines this summer but a new report from Spain has potentially helped unearth the real reason behind his absence.
Ronaldo has already asked to leave the club this summer and his future at Old Trafford is increasingly uncertain despite Erik ten Hag insisting that his star forward is not for sale.
